In the span of just a week I had two young women share with me how they were going along with their lives and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the devil stepped in and tried to undermine their worth, beliefs and their faith. Hearing this didn’t shock me, in fact, it actually made me unusually joyful.
Number one, both of these young ladies are faithful and have a relationship with the Lord. So it was quite simple for them to realize who was at the core of the confusion happening around them. They immediate recognized the devices of the devil so it was easy for them to not fall into the trap he was trying to set for them.
Secondly, I’ve learned in my years of being a follower of Jesus that just when you are near a breakthrough the devil gets real busy and tries to thwart your blessings. So hearing what these ladies were going through confirmed for me that each of them are nearing an amazing breakthrough from the Lord. All they need to do is to remain faithful and stay on the path God has them on.
Philippians 3:14 says, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” It’s a given that Satan doesn’t want us to answer the call God has placed on our lives. His mission is to steal, kill and destroy anything that is of God.
Our job, however, is to recognize his antics and not give up. We have a purpose for being here, so even during the hardest of times, especially during the hardest of times, we have to press forward towards our purpose because it is only then will we gain the blessings God has for us. The fact of the matter is, breakthroughs happen at the end of untoward situations and circumstances.
So if you are going through a trial or test right now, just know you are in the right place in your dash to see a breakthrough. Your only job is to continue to press on.
